Uprising: The powerful warlord Imagawa Yoshimoto is amassing an enormous army and hopes to topple Oda Nobunaga. If he marches on Shunko the entire royal family will die and the cities will burn.
Can the allies of Shunko stop the invasion through diplomacy, cripple it with assassination and intrigue, or defeat this army in open battle? You will decide!
Conquest or consolidation: Daiymo Oda Nobunaga feels the time is right to punish the oni invaders who nearly leveled Shunko. They are weak now, but the mortal threat of Yoshimoto hangs over the kingdom. Should he strike fast and end the demon threat once and for all or prepare all forces for a defense of the home front?
The autumn festival: Shunko is preparing for a wondrous harvest festival! There will be music, dancing, fireworks, and shows galore. With rituals performed for religion, ancestor honor, and uh even fertility. Be a part of the festivities and raise your reputation.

The sleeping dragon: Legend has it that over the dangerous mountains there is a blue “heavenly lake.” Beneath the waters it is said that an elder dragon who saw the dawn of the world still sleeps. If a brave warrior were to navigate the perilous tunnels that lead beneath the lake and wake the dragon it would grant them immeasurable power.
The mad monk: Whispers speak of an insane foreign devil that has been snatching the children of Shunko. A dastardly shadow of a man who cultivates a cult of killers that feast on the entrails of the young. Using old magic to hide in the very rocks outside of Shunko. Will a brave warrior be able to stop this menace?
Demon blood: After the failed invasion of the Oni King the Lord Azai Nagamasa has declared a bounty on all oni in the region of Shunko. A hundred gold for the head or carcass of any oni threat. Dead or alive. The forests and mountains are full of Oni. But who dares to tread in their domain?
The princess and the ghost: The hand maidens of the castle swear to themselves they have seen the princess Chacha Azai visited by an ill spirit. Gossip that has spread through the castle grounds. Idle talk or a serious threat to the kingdom? It is a mystery that must be solved.
Pirates: The Wokou pirates are stepping up their attacks on Korean Kingdom and the Ming Dynasty of China. Activities supported by none other than Daimyo Nobunaga. A good way for an ambitious travelers or fighter to make some money and prepare for the invasion to come.
The Great Imperial Sword: A Quest
Centuries ago, during the Gempei wars wielded by the Taira’s and the Minamotos many Nihonjin Gakis of both noble and peasant status arose. It was a time of great upheaval in old Nihon, a Court ruled by the Azure Dragon Gakis ( or Kuejins).
The Minamotos rose against the Imperial wielding clans of the Tairas and the ensuing battle far out in the seas, A great sword, one of the three pieces of ceremonial regalia and of great importance was lost when the grandson of Tairah no Kiyomori’s vessel sank, and he disappeared taking along the great sword, which was said to have yielded a great power that can bestow powers of unimaginable proportion to any holder. And Even if it isn’t so, it would be a great rallying point for any clans and is said to unify the whole of Nihon under one great ruler.
Nihonjin Gakis of the great House Bishamon, and the emerging Genjis, along with other powerful Ujis have taken it upon themselves to retrieve this great treasure.These Nihonjin Wan Kueis has under their powers and manipulation their mortal kins and scarlet screens that would include powerful daimyus and clans. However several trips to the Yin realm has proven futile. Stories of a a great Same-Bito residing in the depths of the oceans was told to have been recoevered it but finding it will be one dangerous journey.
This story wasnt lost of course to the great Xiong-Rens or Hengeyokais of the Kingdom and powerful Hsiens, adding to a promised fierced competition by equally powerful beings.
This story isn’t lost obviously, through centuries and time up until the Sengoku, when war once again threatens everyobody, Nihonjins and scarlet screen Samurai Daimyus alike included. Mayhaps, the great Oda had this in sight. Maybe most great lords of the major clans knows of this..
A precarious journey and conquest, but one that could forever change one’s destiny.
